Using Hardware equipment or software to produce music is long debate in music production circles. Producers from the early 90's believe the making on hardware produced a better sound . If my HD LCD TV has a "DTV" pre-programmed source do I need a converter box?
I do not have the original manual and the numbers on the back are not accessable unless I unmount it from the wall. It is an Akai LCD from Sams club... if that helps. Could I just need an HD antenna?
The ""DTV" pre-programmed source" doesn't make any sense. If the TV has a ATSC tuner, then no converter is needed. In this case, I'm almost certain you do not need a converter. You do need an antenna and an indoor antenna might not be good enough.
