The Associated Press reports:
A survey shows more than half the students in Ohio colleges plan to leave the state after they graduate.
The Washington-based Fordham Institute released the results Monday, based on its online interviews with 811 students at seven Ohio colleges.
Reasons given by students are similar to those from the past decade, ever since "brain drain" became a catchphrase. They say they want to live somewhere with a more active and fun image than Ohio, but mostly they want to live where they can build a career.
Only 11 percent of the students surveyed rated Ohio as an "excellent" place for job opportunities.
