Ohio Ranks Third-to-Last in Growth Outlook

Ohio continues to languish in the bottom half of an annual ranking by Forbes magazine of the best states for business, but the Buckeye State managed to creep up a few slots on this year’s list. ...

Ohio’s weakest suit in the latest ranking was its growth outlook, which ranked third-to-last among all 50 states. That ranking is made based on projected job, income and economic output growth along with business openings and closings and venture capital investments.
