The Columbus Dispatch reports:
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has been tardy in mailing out vehicle registrations for about a month because of staffing shortages and computer-system reprogramming and testing, a spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Public Safety said today.
That has left many motorists wondering where their new license plates or stickers are and what might happen if they're pulled over with expired tags.
